Project Destiny : Schools
Destiny Art Center’s outreach program - Project DESTINY , takes our
“Five Fingers of Violence Prevention” curriculum to local schools and community centers. The program combines training in martial arts, dance, self-defense and conflict resolution, to create a fun and educational way to reach youth beyond what we are capable of serving at our main-site. Outreach programs are primarily extended to schools that serve low-income youth and youth of color. and our scholarship programs give the youth opportunities to enroll in classes at Destiny Arts Center free of charge.
